Job Overview:
Reporting to the Vice President of Real Estate, The Project Manager for Ambulatory Real Estate Planning & Activation will be responsible for managing the planning, development, and activation of new ambulatory care sites as part of an aggressive expansion strategy for RWJBarnabas Health. This individual will work closely with a diverse set of stakeholders, including medical group leaders, service line leaders, and joint venture partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the overall mission of improving patient convenience and provider referral synergies to enhance the continuity of care.

Required:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Real Estate, Healthcare Management, or related field5+ years of experience in project management, ideally within healthcare or real estate development.Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects with aggressive timelines.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with experience working across diverse groups of stakeholders.Familiarity with healthcare real estate trends, especially within ambulatory care.Experience managing budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).Scheduling Requirements:

Lead the end-to-end management of ambulatory care real estate projects, from planning and programming through development and activation.
Collaborate with medical group leadership, service line leaders, and joint venture partners to ensure that new sites meet clinical and operational needs.
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Work with internal teams to optimize patient convenience, referral patterns, and care coordination across new sites.
Ensure all new ambulatory sites align with regulatory standards, health system strategic goals, and service line growth plans.
Prepare detailed project plans, status reports, and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
Coordinate the involvement of architects, contractors, and other external vendors as required for the successful execution of projects.
Identify and mitigate project risks and manage change requests efficiently.
Act as the primary point of contact between the real estate team and clinical, operational, and administrative leaders.
Lead the planning and execution of site activations, ensuring all stakeholders are prepared for successful launches.
