The role
As a Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Supporting vital Military Satellite Communication systems one day and developing new technologies the next. Your work will contribute to shaping the future of satellite communication systems within defence.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll support the design management process and implement project controls.

 

Co-ordination of an integrated project delivery team ensuring that successful delivery of complex projects through planning monitoring and control in an INCOSE Systems Engineering environment.  Manage stakeholders including Engineering, Operations, supply chain, client engagement and partners. Identification, monitoring, planning, implementing responses and reporting of risks.  Lead the project to deliver world class performance by means of employee engagement, continuous improvement and identifying and implementing the latest technology.  Establish and maintain governance arrangements for the delivery of the project, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities.  Accountable for planning and monitoring the project, submission of regular monthly performance reports indicating any deviations, corrective action taken and escalation of issues.

 

This role is full time 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with roughly 2 days in the onsite per week, however this is variable and depends on project needs.

 

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Essential experience of the Project Manager 

Experience as a project manager and knowledge and understanding of project controls.   Technical experience in any of the following domains: Antennas, Space, Networks or IT. Ability to work autonomously.

 

Qualifications for the Project Manager 

APM preferred.
