Position: Project Manager

Location: Paris, France or Madrid, Spain - Hybrid (3 days in the office)

The Job

We are looking for a Project Manager with a Degree in Engineering with experience in managing software delivery projects with experience in our core business industries (Oil & Gas, Chemical, F&B, etc.) demonstrating strong leadership skills in project executions and have experience with managing large projects.

In this role, you will be fully customer-facing and working with a geographically distributed project team to manage project schedules, lead the project team, and ensure the timely completion of project milestones. You will have experience managing large projects and have used a Quality Management System for project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project planning, the development of budgets, project schedules and detailed project management plans, billing, change control and purchase order processing;

• Work closely with the project team to oversee the project's execution and ensure the project is sufficiently staffed;

• Tracking project progress against baseline schedules, coordinating project team members' efforts in producing project deliverables, and meeting project deadlines;

• Interface and manage customers and gather customer requirements and business drivers for continuous process improvements;

• Translate gathered information into formal requirements by working with the customer and ensuring alignment with the customer;

• Manage and secure on system acceptance test criteria based on formal requirements and ensure customer requirements are met 100% in a timely fashion;

• Prepare formal project status reports, periodic schedule updates and holds regular meetings with the customer;

• Manage project financial status and forecasts revenue regularly;

• Demonstrate excellent communication and organization skills to internal and external customers and possess strong attention to detail;

• Actively work with the Technical Lead to manage the detailed Work Breakdown Structure for efficient project task management. Enforce project execution best practices;

• Recognize and document project risks and manage risk mitigation;

• Assist the sales team in pursuing new business and growing existing accounts;

• Travel up to 25% to customer sites for requirements gathering workshops, design workshops, training workshops, implementation, etc.

You will be expected to lead from the front, enforce our project management best practices in project executions, and be recognized as an expert with a proven track record of success with practical application, technical innovation, and value creation. Someone who enjoys being hands-on, building customer relationships, and solving challenges will succeed in this role.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, IT, Civil, Automation or Mechanical Engineering;

• PMP Certification from PMI® is required;

• Microsoft Project & Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.);

• Knowledge of using ERP systems like Oracle and SAP for Timesheet Management, Timesheet Approvals, Invoices and Payments is a plus;

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems;

• Prior Programming experience is a plus.

• Fluent French mandatory
