About This Role:
Responsibility for the development, prioritization, resourcing, and management of the IO&E  project portfolio.   To lead implementation of key franchise  programs by leveraging project management tools and best practices, and effective indirect management of cross functional teams and stakeholders in the New Product Development space. Proactively coordinate with quality, engineering, and other development functions to facilitate priorities, projects , and improvements needed to support business goals and objectives.  
 
Your Responsibilities Will Include: 

Project/Program Management: Manages key initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes; develops and implements project plan; builds team ownership and commitment to project plan.  Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools, and by working with appropriate staff to understand scope of effort.  Prepares project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete project.  Directs project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.  Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies. Resolves project issues by working with team members, project stakeholders , and others as appropriate..  Conducts project post mortems and communicates lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.  Participates in external project management organizations, conferences and seminars to keep current with industry best practices in project management by joining professional associations and implementing a professional development plan with focus on project management. Communications and Reviews: Responsible for team and cross-functional communications; liaison between the team and Leadership teams; leads phase and business reviews, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications. Collaboratively works with cross-functional management teams on resourcing, development, and feedback of team members to align with strategic business needs and desired skill sets. 

 

Required Qualifications:

University degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred for some disciplines 5-7 years experience.
