Project Manager
Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description This Project Manager will use knowledge of vehicle acquisition programs to provide services including administration support, project management, and technical development support. The role involves providing recommendations and technical advice in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations, adhering to quality standards, and reviewing project deliverables. The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects, serving as a single point of contact from the original concept through final implementation, interfacing with the organization and its customers in all areas of the project. Responsibilities + Define project scope and objectives based on organizational requirements. + Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. + Conduct project meetings and manage project tracking and analysis. + Analyze information and data to assess progress of programs, projects, and processes. + Provide guidance to the project team and recommend solutions to organizational leadership. + Organize, manage, and present information, including oral recommendations. + Prepare, review, and store agenda, briefings, papers, tasks, minutes, calendars, action items, and other program-related documents in government systems. + Prepare required presentation materials for on-site and off-site events. Essential Skills + Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience in project management for a Department of Defense program. + Knowledge of planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking, and reporting on complex programs. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in project management of ground combat vehicle systems. + Degree in Project Management, Business Management, or Business Administration. + Attention to detail. + Accuracy of work. + Time management. + Organization. + Management. + Team player/working with cross-functional teams. + Ability to prioritize. Work Environment In 2021, Our Client completed construction of a purpose-built facility in Sterling Heights, MI to strategically support the US Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command and the Detroit Arsenal. The facility includes office space, conference rooms, an engineering lab, and a vehicle high bay integration space. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with flexible hours as long as expected hours are met.
