High-Level Description: Manage multiple concurrent action plans to implement all necessary controls (policies/standards, processes/procedures, control testing, and metrics of outcomes) as well as documentation for the Dodd- Act of 2010 (aka “Federal Readiness”).
Skills Requirement: The candidate should have a good working knowledge of IT Governance processes including Software Development Life Cycle, Quality Assurance, and Change Management. Knowledge of the Security domain, especially around Access/Identity Management is also required. Project Management skills of median experience (3+ years) are a minimum requirement.
Responsibilities include:
• Oversee technical writers who will create the documentation outlined above
• Manage project deliverables for multiple action plans
• Interface with key IT resources (subject experts) on action plan tasks
• Interface with other key corporate resources (subject experts) on action plan
tasks (i.e., Information Security, Infrastructure Support, Corporate Security,
Compliance)
• Interface with key business unit resources (subject experts) on action plan
tasks
• Develop a detailed project plan from the Action Plans and execute it
• Ensure project alignment with SAFG Tier-1 and Tier-2 standards, SDLC, QA,
and Change Management standards
• Monitor project progress and ensure it stays on schedule/budget
• Resolve project problems and any new gaps found and report to Project Lead
• Report status and budget to Project Lead at defined intervals
• Develop training plans and coordinate with IT and business for action plan
tasks
• Roll out action plan tasks based on a phased schedule
• Develop metrics and reporting for action plan tasks
• Develop periodic review schedules for action plan tasks
• Participate in the verification of output as being compliant with the goals of the
project
• Ensure the deliverables of the Technical Writers are accurate, approved, and
stored in an approved repository
