We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to plan, facilitate, and manage IT projects supporting organizational performance objectives programs onsite at the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC). This role involves leading multi-disciplinary IT initiatives, ensuring the timely execution of projects, and driving process improvements. The Project Manager will serve as the first line of response to address and resolve project-level issues. This position requires a strong ability to collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and external partners to deliver successful outcomes.
This role is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and performance metrics.Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout project lifecycles.Develop and execute detailed project plans, evaluating business implications at each stage and ensuring adherence to established timelines, quality standards, and cost targets.Coordinate and manage all phases of IT projects, including initiation, stand-up, execution, closeout, and review.Conduct data gathering, data entry, and prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for IT Facilities, Construction, Telecommunications, End User Devices, Hardware, and Software projects.Update and maintain IT contracts, budgets, funding profiles, and procurement activities using IT business management tools.Document, monitor, and track risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure project success.Provide administrative support, including the preparation of status reports, meeting logistics, and task lists, supporting briefings and funding profile development.Research, review, document, and ensure adherence to organizational processes and procedures to maintain compliance with standards.Oversee project deliverables and manage performance metrics to ensure successful completion of assigned initiatives.Monitor and evaluate project progress to confirm that deadlines, standards, and cost expectations are consistently met.Prepare for and actively participate in internal and external stakeholder meetings as directed.Support technical staff as needed, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical implementation strategies.Address project-level risks and issues promptly to maintain smooth progress and minimize escalation. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalentITIL 4 Foundation.Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating proficiency in IT project management.Ability to work onsite
