You have completed a BS Degree in Business, Engineering or similar field, or related experience in lieu of degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a project related role for at least 8 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Project Management Certification preferred. Prepares project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives. Utilizes approved project management methods and processes to execute low risk projects of existing technology and methods to meet client needs and expectations. Provides primary interface between project team, management and client.
Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
Coordinates multiple project activities including organizing and directing personnel, materials and equipment; utilizes team building skills to ensure satisfactory project performance.
Defines and forecasts needed skills to meet project objectives.
Manages the timely issuance and payment of customer invoices.
Utilizes existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies.
Actively participates in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd. Provides project leadership for major commercial design, construction, expansion, extension, renovation, supply or component replacement projects.
Prepares project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing
objectives.                        
Engineering & Construction Management Experience with Buce Power. Knowledge about Bruce Power ECC process is a plus  Good organization skills and financial management skills                            
Proven leadership skills to manage cost, schedule, and scope. Experience with P6 and cost management tools like PRS       Knowledge of Nuclear Industry Safety & Quality Process                             
Conflict Management, Customer Focus, Timely Decision Making, Informing, Negotiating, Organizing, Planning, Priority Setting, Problem Solving, Building Effective Teams

This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Project Manager in Pickering, Ontario, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

Manage a variety of Engineering & Services projects, with a team of project coordinators and engineering staff. Interface with customer representatives on a daily basis, ensuring all contract deliverables are executed to the highest levels of safety and quality. Responsible to the Product line manager for safety, quality, cost and schedule for all projects managed.  Organize and chair daily/weekly project meetings. Maintain all managed projects within the Framatome Project Reporting system. Provide support in filed as needed.                                 

 

This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.
