Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Main tasks:1.Overall responsible for assigned project in both commercial and technical from contract signing till project close-out.2.Leading the project team, coordinating all operational activities by utilizing internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. Specially focus on Azipod product delivery, document delivery and customer payment collection.3.Closely track all project costs to stay within budget, shall strive to increase project gross margin by proactively seeking opportunities and controlling risks, including get VOR from customer side.4.Follow all projects Gate achieved according to plan, be able to make quick adjustments and recovery plans for changes.5.Maintaining commercial- technical relationships with customers, proactively to get customer feedback and keep a high customer satisfaction.6.Identify, quantifying project risks, and managing them with proactive measures in early phase.7.Monitoring quality control measures during project execution, ensure no major quality issue happened.8.Responsible for project site activities, Including Azipod installation, commissioning, sea trial and customer acceptance. Responsible for project site safety, make and implement project safety plan.9.Complete project reports and SAP\\IPM\\PR+ etc. system operation in time and with good quality10.Managing and motivating a project team to forward a common goal.Supporting tasks:1.Attend the assigned project CBR/RR.2.Able to lead basic technical discussion with customer and other stakeholders independently.3.Support project engineer for class approved document return coordination and support SCM for supplier component delivery coordination if need.4.Lead or participate factory CI project.5.Other tasks that delegated by project operation manager.

Qualifications for the role

Key Requirements1.More than 5 years working experience as a Project Manager in marine industry, ship propulsion product background is preferred.2.Strong project team leadership ability, demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and stakeholders. Be customer and result oriented.3.Strong written and spoken communication skills, including fluent English writing and speaking.4.Be able to adapt to domestic or abroad travel per project request.5.Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Project. Knowing IPM and PMP certificate are an advantage.
