Pay Rate: $75 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Project Manager to their team for an initial 12 month contract which is renewable. This role is currently hybrid, 3 days a week in office in Toronto.
Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end client onboarding activities, ensuring accurate data collection, validation, storage, and maintenance throughout the client's lifecycle. Develop and execute project plans for the regulatory remediation project, identifying tasks, assigning resources, and coordinating deliverables. Provide leadership and direction to the project team, ensuring collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders. Conduct detailed analysis of project results, summarizing findings and providing regular status updates to senior management. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements by collecting necessary data and documentation from clients and maintaining this information in appropriate systems. Requirements:
Must have: Minimum 7 to 10 years of Project Management experience. Experience as a Project Manager in a Canadian Financial Institution within Capital Markets. Proven ability to work with key stakeholders, managing relationships and expectations. Strong knowledge and understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Nice to Have: Knowledge of regulatory regimes such as Dodd Frank (CFTC & SEC) and CSA. Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
