Abacus Technology is seeking a Project Manager to provide guidance and leadership to a team providing modeling and simulation support for the Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC).  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating functional, quality, cost, timeline risks and issues appropriately. Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. Coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Manage human resources and staffing functions to ensure project performance is exemplary (e.g., hiring, performance management). Manage one or more cross‐functional projects of medium to high complexity. Qualifications

6+ years experience including at least 4 years supporting DoD projects.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Must be PMP certified.  Must have a background in leading technical tasks and performing project management functions according to the complete project life cycle.  Experience managing modeling and simulation projects desired.  Must be able to work closely with staff and government program managers with equal efficiency.  Demonstrated experience providing high‐quality service in complex environments.  Experience with MS Project or similar tool.  Must be highly motivated and assertive.  Excellent communication skills, proactive management style, and the ability to manage customer and other stakeholder expectations.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
