The purpose of the role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our technology programme delivery team based in our central Glasgow office.
This is a great opportunity for an experience technology Project Manager to work across the entire Aggreko business and deliver on key technology projects and applications that are critical to our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
The key focus areas for the Project Manager role are:
Manage and deliver multiple projects, creating plans and tracking progress.Create project governance with clear articulation across Aggreko’s technology function, business units and Group functions.Identify and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with other key business objectives.Own the issue and risk management process.Manage project demands; intercept issues and implement countermeasures as required.Status reporting; communicate key risks and issues to the PMO, project team and business stakeholders.Present information on project outcomes in a timely manner and shaped to the relevant audience.What we’re looking for:
Experience in a technology project management role. (Ideally software applications).APM or PMI certification - practitioner desirable.Proven stakeholder management and presentations skills, alongside demonstrable conflict resolution management.Experience in executing Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid project methodologies.Structured approach to problem solving and improvement planning.Able to work under pressure and to tight timelines and collaborate with multiple business areas.Experience of delivering technical projects in an enterprise environment, with effective resource management.Why join Aggreko?
