Position Summary:

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Somerset, NJ is hiring a Project Manager. This person will lead Project teams in the management and successful delivery of assigned Projects/customer relationships, advocating for the customer and Catalent as a whole. The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, developing solution-based approaches for project issues, communicate via teleconference and email, and promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the job.

This is a full-time position: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Catalent in Somerset, NJ is home to oral solid dose manufacturing operations as part of the Oral and Specialty Delivery (OSD) business unit. On site we have our state-of-the-art laboratory, clinical, and commercial manufacturing plant for oral dose forms in addition to being the Catalent Center of Excellence for handling Highly Potent Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.

The Role

Under own direction for assigned projects coordinate projects from award stage to completion ensuring correct planning timelines are generated, monitored and tracked to ensure successful adherence and completionCoordinate customer meetings/calls/customer visits to support own assigned projects and understand full scope requirements to generate all required project documentation such as agendas/meeting minutes/timelinesSet up customers on SharePoint site as required, provide ongoing support for customer use and password managementAccurately Forecast program revenue and ensure Purchase order receipt (as needed) for each program assigned and invoice approvals throughout the month to meet site forecasting processSupport NPIx (New Project Introduction Excellence) program by preparing presentations/reviews for leadership meetingsCollect KPI data for key milestones and customer temperature/healthSupport establishing scope for Quotations/Quote amendments for existing client pipeline work and new requests/needsAll other duties as assigned;

The Candidate

Bachelors degree is required; Masters degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or another relevant discipline is preferredFive or more years of relevant experience in Project Management or Customer Service or similar is requiredRelevant experience leading teams in business development, analytical, or product development is a plusProfessional Project Management Qualification preferredExperience with Smartsheets or a similar software is preferredAbility to lead a team and motivate others is preferredFamiliarity with the drug development process and GMP Quality systems is preferredIndividual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds;
