Native Hawaiian Veterans, LLC (NHV) is a tribally-owned business; an Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (UDBE); and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) that provides services, solutions, and products in the areas of Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Information Technology, Communication Equipment, Professional Staff Augmentation, Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) Remediation, and Strategic Communications/Creative Services.

Responsibilities Organize, plan, schedule, implement, control, analyze, and report on all elements of the SOW.Shall have resources and authority to ensure efficient and timely program execution and shall be the Contractor's focal point for all required program tasks.Always prepared to present and discuss the status of contract activities, requirements, and issues. The PM shall be responsible for ensuring the QUAL/CERT program is up and running to support missions.Routinely visit the vessels to ensure proper contract execution by the crew. Government office space will be available for the PM and is expected to be available on workdays to interact face-to-face with NBG Government personnel and the crew on a daily basis.Submit a Daily Personnel Accountability Log Report (CDRL A003) to indicate all daily-completed work for all vessel operations and maintenance. The report will consist of all personnel tasking performed, customer supported, start and stop times, hours worked and pay type (Regular/Overtime).Ensure assignments and priorities are coordinated with the PMRF DET NBG Personnel. The assignments shall be completed in a manner that is thorough and within schedule and document all accomplishments directly relevant to the individual task’s schedule(s).Participate in and provide execution of project planning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, personnel management, cost monitoring, mission scheduling, and tracking all tasks progress.Responsible for working directly with the Government to coordinate and plan the O&M schedule for RSC-2 and MPC-1 and training support requirements.Responsible for reporting and tracking all discrepancies and reporting any degradation of RSC-2/MPC-1 or Surface Targets to the Government.Responsible for ensuring all maintenance and repairs are scheduled and accomplished for all Government equipment.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Engineering. Equivalent experience is sufficient. USCG document as Master 100 or 200GT Able Bodied Seaman or Higher5 years in Maritime Industry with knowledge of vessel operations and maintenance, government contracting experience, personnel management experience.Must have the requisite skills, expertise, and experience to perform the requirements of each task to include satisfying the quality requirements.Must be eligible to possess a final U.S. Government security clearance. Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Business, Management, or Engineering. Equivalent experience is sufficient. 10 years actively working in the maritime industry as a Master of 500 GT or more. Or USCG licensed Chief Engineer 4000 Horsepower or more.Ability to create and maintain maintenance plans. Ability to supervise personnel and an operational schedule.
