Project Manager


SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Support the European Sales Offices during the preparation of commercial offers for KOB2 (comprised between 150k$ and 2m$) of medium (Tier 2) or high complexity (Tier 3), manufactured in Europe (Cernay, France and Székesfehérvár, Hungary factories).
Be responsible of several Tier 2 / Tier 3 projects manufactured in Europe by driving all activities (from order to invoicing) required for its smooth execution, in order to deliver them as per customer requirements and contractual delivery dates while improving their profitability.


IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
-Participate to technical and commercial offers preparation with Sales Offices and GPP by coordinating the spec review and planning activities 
-Organize and lead the alignments calls and contract review calls
-Influence project specifications towards Emerson standards in order to reduce risks while collaborating with Sales Offices
-Ensure that every stakeholder understands the project’s requirements by reviewing the spec review file in details, detailing the deviations and following the required process depending on complexity
-Ensure Emerson commitments are documented in the purchase order
-Commit on project lead times while considering, whenever possible, some float to mitigate risks
-Be responsible of the project once awarded, in agreement with the Sales Office
- Be Flow Control Europe interface for customer and contribute to his satisfaction by providing required and accurate data 
-Organize every progress meeting (Gates / Touch Points, KOM, iKOM, PIM, Project Review …)
-Lead every project step, while ensuring lead times and milestones are respected
-Coordinate the various internal Europeans countries
- Track and record project progress (goods and documentation)
Coordinate any change that could happen during project life
-Commit to annual, quarterly and monthly Sales forecasts
-Improve project profitability by grabbing every customer change’s opportunity and by working with factories to limit costs
-Anticipate and identify potential risks in any project’s aspect and ensure that preventive/corrective actions are activated
-Record any fact or relevant step in order to provide factual data to negotiate in case of dispute 
-At project completion, hand over to end destination Sales Office

Responsibilities and scope
-Lead several projects which could be manufactured in several European plants 
-Be responsible for project success (contractual, technical and financial aspects) in front of both customer and internal organization

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
•    University Degree
•    Project Management
•    English to coordinate teams, to negotiate with customer and for reporting
•    Capacity to analyze customer requirements and knowledge of project process (Tier 2)
•    Transversal management skills (capacity to lead an extended multicultural team)
•    Negotiation skills and customer relationship skills
•    Knowledge of BU organization, products, market and capacity to navigate in a matrix organization
