Project Manager
Project Manager Job Description Estimator/Project Managers are responsible for identifying, bidding, and securing construction projects, and subsequently, for the overall project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control of a construction project. Responsibilities + Prepare detailed project estimates. + Set up B2W estimates, including project name, bid number, owner, architect, estimator name, job size, duration, bid date, etc. + Obtain and review subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure a complete scope and pricing. + Prepare schedules, detailed scopes, and pricing information for owners as necessary. + Complete final reviews for project acceptance and complete buy-outs for daily project management and budget/production goals. + Chart out project objectives and interpret plans, setting performance requirements, schedules, and budgetary requirements. + Oversee the construction project from start to finish. + Work with Field Supervision and Safety Manager to develop Job Hazard Analyses for the project and monitor implementation. + Perform a key role along with management in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed for project success. + Ensure all project documents are complete and submitted on time including but not limited to budgets, labor time sheets, change orders, payables, and billing. Essential Skills + Construction management + Change order management + Submittals + Experience with viewpoint by vista + Civil engineering + Site development Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, or Civil Engineering required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. + 5+ years of paid heavy civil project/field engineering, estimating, or management experience. Work Environment Candidates will need to drive to Niagara Falls, NY. The work environment involves both office and field settings, requiring frequent travel to project sites. The role demands a combination of desk work and on-site visits, ensuring that project specifications and timelines are met. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.70 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
