Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description
The Project Manager will work closely with internal and external resources as well as clients to ensure the successful completion of projects. This role requires running informational meetings, coordinating resources, and managing large corporate restaurant and retail clients. Key responsibilities include achieving design intent, quality and value engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and ongoing customer support.
Responsibilities
+ Work closely with clients to define goals, objectives, and expectations.
+ Develop necessary support and production plans.
+ Create project timelines and manage projects with department heads.
+ Monitor prototype development and production from physical products, on-time delivery, and budgetary standpoints.
+ Develop corrective actions in collaboration with client representatives.
+ Identify quality and value-engineering opportunities with the engineering and production departments.
+ Ensure good flow of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
+ Develop cost and pricing estimates.
+ Manage inventory to maximize turns and reduce waste.
+ Work with subcontract resources, conducting quality checks as necessary.
+ Engage with clients to increase business share.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of experience in client-facing project management within the store fixtures, millwork, casework, or building construction industry.
+ Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a leadership role.
+ Ability to read architectural drawings to understand interior finishes and millwork needs.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft skills, including intermediate level analysis in Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Global Shop ERP system.
+ Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction, Architecture, Millwork, Woodworking, or Fixture Design.
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite role with hybrid flexibility for appointments or sickness. The work involves managing 8-12 week long projects, working with customers at different locations, and building relationships. The office space is designed with custom wood paneling, tables, and industrial fixtures, overlooking the production floor with floor-to-ceiling windows. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $41.00
