Overview The role focuses on the delivery of technology projects across teams within the Technology Servicing function. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic data team in the Reinsurance sector. As a leader in a multidisciplinary environment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing technology centred projects, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The successful applicant will need to be able to lead a multi-location project team, as well as aligning with other Project Managers and stakeholders within the IT change portfolio. This role will report directly to the Portfolio Manager. How you'll make an impact The Project Management responsibilities will include: Define, plan, manage and deliver the project work activities Complete project set up and governance, including creating project mandates and Business Cases, develop and implement project mobilisation Project delivery Identify and manage risks and issues, defining actions to mitigate, escalating issues as appropriate Agree Stakeholder Communications Matrix and plan Provide regular project transparency by reporting project status Management and co-ordination of all resources assigned to projects, ensuring work is clearly understood and tracked The successful applicant will: Be proficient in delivering effective business and IT change Be ready to lead multi location project teams using the appropriate project methodology, ensuring alignment with other stakeholders, Project and Product Managers Be able to manage multiple projects concurrently Provide a supportive approach whilst holding teams accountable for their commitments Be able to apply appropriate controls to ensure the effective monitoring and management of risks, issues, financials, resources, benefits and changes Ensure the relevant and most appropriate stakeholders are engaged, managed, and communicated to effectively Ensure deliverables meet all Audit, Compliance, Information Security, DPO and any other applicable group standards or regulatory requirements, including finance accounting standards About You Essential: Proven experience of project delivery Experience of managing full IT project lifecycle from idea through to hand-over to operational support Demonstrated ability to be able to scope, define and deliver a programme of work, aligning and managing project objectives, tasks and deliverables Management of project RAID log, resource allocation and financial budgets Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in diverse and virtual teams, and within a matrix global organization Experience managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, across functions and seniority levels Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Advanced MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio) APMP or Prince2 qualified Desired: Knowledge of the Insurance Industry Understanding & applied experience of Agile #LI-TG2 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
