What will you be doing?
Project management:
• Accountable for successful project delivery in line with the defined success criteria and set goals
• Accountable for effective and consistent communications and reporting to business and IT stakeholders
• Accountable for smooth change deployment and handover to operations, driving quality and compliance
• Accountable for successful adoption of the solution, ensuring appropriate roll-out strategy and engagement
• Accountable for contribution and ongoing improvement of the project management tools and methodology (as part of the project management community)
Risks & Controls management:
• Identify, own and manage the specific key risks and/or IT controls and Business Protection standards
Resource Management
• Accountable for managing internal and external resources working on the project
Problem Solving
• Accountable for solving problems and dealing with difficulties in line with policy, process and other guidelines applying technical knowledge and expertise
Change
• Accountable for recommending change based on expert know how and analysis of precedent and similar previous problems
Internal Collaboration
• Accountable for building and maintaining effective relationships with the project team as well as extended stakeholders – incl. sponsor, business representatives and other projects
External Interaction
• Accountable for building and maintaining effective relationships with external subject matter experts and/or suppliers
What we’re looking for?
• Proven experience as a Project Manager covering all stages of the project lifecycle, minimum 2 years
• Experience of matrix management, including third parties and offshore
• Confident risk and budget management experience
• Financial Services background desirable but not essential
• Confident communicator with strong influencing skills up to CIO level
• Additional nice to have skills or expertice we are looking for: Salesforce, Business readiness/change, automation, integration, data migration, data modelling, data analytics, contract/negotiating, RFI/RFP, Agile, Non-functional requirements (NFR’s)
