We have fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Dungarvan Co Waterford. 

The purpose of this job is to facilitate the delivery of laboratory services to achieve client requirements and business plan. Serve as the primary communication link between the client and the laboratory staff; act as project manager for client projects, organize client visits and audits, provide sample login information to Sample Intake, and help resolve issues between clients and Eurofins staff. 

Job Responsibilities

Support Business Development with the scoping of Projects as part of Quoting processDevelop Project PlansDefine Phases & milestones in conjunction with the client & operational colleagues. Monitor adherence toward pre-defined phases and milestonesTimeline managementResponsible for “Kick-off” meetings for assigned pharmaceutical clientsManage all phases of each assigned project, including budget,Monitor invoicing schedule,Monitor resource requirements,Ownership of on-site project plan and client deliverablesManage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining project schedule and quality deliverables.Coordinate with other commercial group personnel as well as Quality and Technical Delivery resources to ensure the timely and quality preparation of project deliverables based on assigned scope-of-servicesOversee development and approval of study materials on projects at assigned pharmaceutical clientsEnsure all project deliverables are of high quality and exceed client’s expectations in compliance with Quality Management governance proceduresOversee study management and coordinate study status with project sponsors (internal & external)Coordinate management of resources and tasks to ensure availability/continuity of all logistics, materials and technologies necessary as defined by scope-of-services.Coordinate with project sponsors to ensure all project expectations are met.Proactively identify new opportunities to upsell Eurofins BPT services.Risk identification/management and contingency planning.Prepare, conduct and document lessons learned activities as a handover of project results for documentation.Liaise with Commercial & Operational leadership to proactively introduce new services.

QualificationsDegree in relevant technical or business subject or equivalent years of experience in role.Experience with managing work plans, project budgets, invoicing, resource allocation and deliverable managementDemonstrated analytical, organizational, creative problem solving and structured communication skillsStrong client and vendor relationship skillsAbility to travel for business (overnight trips are to be expected)Demonstrated proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Skype for Business, Teams, MS Project, Visio etc.).Familiarity with CRM desirableBasic proficiency in eLIMS.Fluency in English (will be required to write, speak and understand English to conduct day-to day business)Ability to manage own time proactively identify prioritized tasksEntrepreneurial spirit, drive and work ethicFocus on attention to detail

Additional Information

A large part of the work of the role involves interaction with all functions within Eurofins BPT Laboratories as well as with clients. This will include planned regular team meetings, client meetings as well as ad hoc discussions across the business. For this reason, the person performing this role will need to be available at the Ireland site as required by clients / internal meetings.

There is likely to be a significant amount of time required to be spent at or travelling to client’s sites across the territory (and occasionally beyond) consequently the job holder must be prepared to travel and this will involve nights away from home, it is anticipated that a minimum of 50% travel time is required per week.
