Project Manager – Amsterdam, Netherlands – Data Centres
Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organization, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Scheduling: The PM is responsible for creating a detailed project plan, including defining scope, establishing timelines, and coordinating resource allocation. This also includes setting milestones, defining deliverables, and ensuring that the project stays on track. Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders (including clients, vendors, and internal teams) is vital. The PM is responsible for regular updates, progress reports, and ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks (technical, operational, or financial) and implementing strategies to mitigate them is a crucial responsibility. The PM should have contingency plans in place to address any unforeseen challenges during the project lifecycle. Budget and Resource Management: The PM oversees the project budget, ensuring that costs are controlled, resources are utilized effectively, and the project remains within financial constraints. This includes managing contracts, procurement, and vendor relations. Team Coordination and Leadership: The PM leads the project team, assigning tasks and ensuring that everyone is aligned with the project objectives. This involves setting clear roles and responsibilities, facilitating teamwork, and motivating team members to ensure productivity. Quality Control and Compliance: Ensuring that the Data Centre meets all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality expectations is a critical responsibility. The PM ensures that all construction, design, and operational activities comply with necessary codes and specifications.
Requirements
Must have 5+ years of experience managing projects from Cradle to Grave Must have good understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil elements of Construction Projects Data Centre experience is preferred
Benefits
€100,000-€110,000 per annum, €1400 per month tax free allowance, Sole Accommodation, 17/4 rotation, Flights and Transport.
