Project Manager


As Project Manager you will have the overall responsibility and authority for the implementation and execution of Customer projects.  Will responsible for the entire process from Bid /Quote clarification phase until cash collection following the PMO process while improving customer satisfaction and increasing project profitability. Be the point of contact for the customer and all internal Emerson personnel for the assigned projects. The Project Manager will have the responsibility for providing leadership and coaching to the cross functional project teams within the matrix organization to achieve project goals. 

 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Coordinates large, complex and/or multi-plant projects (Tier 3) Involved in negotiation of the initial scope of the project, change orders, terms and conditions and all additions or expansions to the project with Sales Office and/or Customer. Lead internal and external communication meetings to ensure alignment Ensure the PO to Quote reconciliation is completed, which includes resolving all issues prior to PO Acceptance.  Develop and own the Project Plan that includes schedules, turning points, procurement strategy, execution strategy, financial targets, resources, communications and considerations of risks. Interface and continuously connect with the Sales Office and/or Customer throughout the life of the project to provide updates, milestones, and progress.  Serve as primary point of communication for Pressure Management. Effectively provide leadership for a comprehensive project team ideally consisting of project coordinator, customer support and documentation controller.  Project Manager is aware and intervenes in any issues that can impact lead times, shipment and margin Ensure proper project close-out; such as lessons learned, documentation completion, payment completion and MRO handoff.

Your strength lies in developing and maintaining relationships, as well as influencing and motivating others. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to customer and manufacturing locations is important. 

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

Technical degree in Engineering or related field, "Master of Science or equivalent experience" 3 years of direct Project Management experience or demonstrated ability in Order Engineering, Customer, or Engineering roles. Fluent English
