Project Manager

An architecture firm located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Project Manager to their team!

Job Description:

Reviews Construction Documents for accuracy and ensures quality by marking corrections / red lines in preparation for review, bidding, permitting and constructionIdentifies, researches and develops solutions for technical and design challengesPerforms code research to ensure that all necessary codes are applied to design solutions and construction documentationManages the permitting process in its entiretyManges coordination of projects with all outside project consultants and vendorsManages and performs site observations and prepares site visit reportsManages the Construction Administration phase including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, participating in OAC callsWrites reports and memos to consultants and vendors to issue changes and track resolutionsReviews and redlines completed reports, outside consultant plans, estimates and calculations for coordination and compliance with project scopeActively participates in project reviews regarding project costs, budgets and adherence to scheduleSkilled in leading projects, including setting priorities and assigning tasks; Oversees and works collaboratively, offering technical expertise and guidanceAssist in scheduling and meeting project deadlinesResponsible for coordinating professional service contractsParticipates in client relationship meetings alongside the Team LeadParticipates in monthly billing alongside Team Lead

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture4+ years of experience in a role that required documentation, project management, and people managementAbility to produce construction documents in AutoCADPrior experience supporting a project from schematic design through construction administrationAbility to maintain quick project turnaround timesRevit proficiency is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.69 - $37.50
