Pay Rate: $70 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team for a 8-month contract with the possibility of extension or convert. This role is located in Toronto, and follows a hybrid work schedule of 1-2 days per week onsite.
 
Responsibilities Include: Coordinate project activities, create comprehensive plans to achieve objectives, and oversee the integration of technical tasks. Present and explain proposals, reports, and discoveries to clients. Delegate, supervise, and assess employee performance while ensuring ongoing staff competency development. Evaluate technology, resource requirements, and market trends to assess project feasibility. Collaborate with management, production, and marketing teams to discuss project specifications and procedures. Consult and negotiate with clients to establish project requirements. Provide expertise in project management methodologies, advising the team on integrating both waterfall and agile approaches. Facilitate discovery sessions to define project scope and contribute to roadmap creation, collaborating closely with the data team. Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and status updates. Oversee project transformational design and maintain momentum throughout.  
Must-Have Skills: 10+ years of previous experience as a Project Manager/Project Coordinator or related field in the financial industry 7+ years of experience with Agile/Waterfall 5+ years of experience with MS Projects 5+ years of experience with JIRA/CONFLUENCE 5+ years of experience with Clarity  
Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience working on projects at big 5 banks in Canada
