Our client, a major Oil and Gas company, is looking for a Project Manager to work on a 3+ year assignment in Port Arthur, TX with benefits.

Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing complex projects, from inception to completion, with a focus on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) work.
This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and leadership skills to oversee projects with budgets ranging from several thousand to tens of millions of dollars.

Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting. Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives within budget and timeline constraints. Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation strategies. Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates and reports. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project procurement processes, including vendor selection and contract negotiation. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize project execution.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the petrochemical industry. Proven track record of managing EPC projects with budgets ranging from several thousand to tens of millions of dollars. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile). Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualification:
  Experience with specific petrochemical processes and equipment.
