Project Manager
Job Title: Project Manager Location: On-site (Office and Construction Site) Job Description: Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization, is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate an exciting greenfield project, expanding upon current facilities locally. Key Responsibilities: + Lead multi-disciplined project teams to complete projects on-time, on budget, meeting all requirements (quality, cost, schedule, scope). + Execute projects and manage all aspects including developing project goals and business objectives; finalizing scope and budget; creating project plans; negotiating staffing with Line of Business; monitoring and controlling project work; managing project data; reporting performance and seeking approvals from project owner; managing project procurement, delivery/installation, commissioning, qualification, change control, and team; closing and evaluating project. + Ensure all facets of the program lifecycle align with expectations set forth by the project owner. + Monitor and report project progress. + Consider project staffing plans needed to support projects. Assemble the project team. For external staff, manage tasks and time closely. + Responsible for financial project accountability through purchase order creation, management, invoicing, and budget forecasting. + Ensure alignment with global programs and other site projects to actively share best practices, knowledge, and visions. + Assist with any training required of personnel supporting the project. + Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties. Top Skills: + Project Management: Previous experience managing a project, ideally 8-10 years. + Greenfield Project: Experience working on a construction project from the ground up. + Manufacturing: Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, pharmaceutical preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications: + Qualifications/Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in life sciences. + Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus. + Manufacturing experience, from start-up and PPQ runs through to BAU. + Experience working on greenfield projects, from laying the foundation to fruition. + Secondary Skills (Nice to Haves): + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Competent in basic computer skills. + Multi-task oriented. + Ability to effectively work with people. + Conscientious and detail-oriented. + Flexible and adaptable. Work Environment: This individual will be on-site in an office building and will head to the construction site as well as the current building to meet with different project stakeholders. Normal hours, but flexibility is required as different needs arise. Business Challenge: Our client is building a brand new $4.5 billion fill-finish facility that needs to be up and running by 2028. They are utilizing Actalent to hire project managers for their team to work cross-functionally with the departments and ensure success when the building starts to go up. Performance Expectations: + Very black and white with KPIs that need to be tracked around documents, training materials, all ensuring to be cohesive between AP, FP, utilities, and other departments. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $100.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
