The Opportunity… 

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a variety of water and wastewater construction projects, from design through to handover. This is a rare opportunity to manage a diverse and impactful portfolio, helping shape the future of water services for local communities. Duties include:

Collaborate with design teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards. Lead a culture of innovation, focusing on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. Cultivate strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to uphold The Downer Standard.  Monitor project progress, proactively managing timelines, risks, and any unforeseen delays to meet project goals and KPIs. Empower your team through mentorship, feedback, and fostering an environment of ongoing learning and development.

About You

Tertiary qualification in Engineering. Demonstrated complex project management experience in construction or water industries.  Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic contracting service orientated environment. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Developed analytical and planning/prioritisation skills; financial planning and budgeting skills.
