We are presently seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with advanced project management skills, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Lead project teams, providing direction, motivation, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to define project requirements, expectations, and deliverables. Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and senior management. Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts or concerns as they arise. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used effectively and efficiently. Coordinate with resource managers to secure necessary personnel and resources for project execution. Track and report on project expenditures and ensure cost control measures are in place. Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to organizational policies and procedures. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure project objectives are achieved and deliverables are of high quality. Leadership and Team Development: Mentor and support junior project managers and team members, fostering professional growth and development. Promote a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging effective communication and teamwork. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management. Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and enhance future project performance.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred) Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior project management role. Proven track record of managing large, complex projects successfully. Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification required. Advanced certifications (e.g., Program Management Professional (PgMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)) preferred. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Advanced project management skills, including proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay Range: $100,000-$115,000 per year, depending on experience.

This facility specializes in the manufacturing of ultra-precision optical components, optical thin film coatings and optical sub-assemblies for demanding applications in lasers, materials processing, instrumentation, life sciences, avionics, and defense.
This site offers capabilities that include substantial design and engineering resources, comprehensive optical fabrication and coating capabilities, advanced assembly technology and an extensive in-house metrology lab.
