Our Healthcare client is in need of a Sr Project Manager. This PM will be working on large projects in their Security groups and could have some combination in Infrastructure as well. The projects will vary which is why they need a well-rounded PM that has supported projects across Security and Infrastructure, with a focus on security. A few examples of Security projects are:
+ This PM is not supporting one or really any specific security project but they need to be very well-rounded within security/infra and can help wrap their hands around the overall Security Program.
+ They do not want to look at this as a Program manager because they do not need someone managing PMs and they will still be very hands-on in the weeds but will need to have some qualities of a Program manager.
+ They need to be very high level, executive presence/presentation skills, etc is a MUST. They will be working directly with the CIO and the CISO (their CISO is new so will be working a lot with him).
+ Need to have experience in security- ideally a health system as it will help be relatable.
+ Soft Skill- executive level presentation experience.
+ Extremely Polished
+ Manage- security program- might not manage all projects- keep security program up to date- command that space
+ But needs to be comfortable and used to being in the weeds on a project as well
+ Coordinating with PMs - Ontrack, issues, cross functionally work
+ Detailed, technical, - manage interdependent
The Infra projects could be around- hardware, deployments, implementations, migrations, etc- but understands the technology enough on that side to be able to effectively run the projects.
Project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, communicating project status, and delivering every project on time, within budget and scope. Successful candidates will be excellent communicators, comfortable managing multiple tasks, team players, and have problem-solving aptitude.
Responsibilities include:
+ Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
+ Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
+ Develop project scopes and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
+ Ensure resource availability and allocation
+ Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
+ Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
+ Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
+ Report and escalate to management as needed
+ Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
+ Perform risk management to minimize project risks
+ Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
+ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

+ Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector. Healthcare IT experience is a plus.
+ Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
