Project Manager

Typical Accountabilities:
• Provides support to the Project Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring major projects from concepts through implementation

• Assists in initiating, conducting and coordinating resource allocation and financial program evaluation reviews

• Gathers and analyses data related to establishing and maintaining corporate business processes, procedures and policies

• Evaluates and monitors performance and efficiency of programs to ensure that program implementation is on target

• Assists with preparing budget status reports, forecast reports, reports on adherence to key performance indicators and other management reports

• Works with project staff to prepare cost applications and budgets for new business development

• Works on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables

• Helps co-ordinate resources within the business teams and across the department

• Helps ensures compliance with engineering, safety and work standards and escalates any non-compliance to Engineering Project Manager

• 4 or more countries at a minimum of 40% of time

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Degree in Engineering or related field; Qualified Engineer
• Desirable: Knowledge or previous experience in project management

• External (to AZ): External contractors; External suppliers
