Project Manager
Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our Engineered Design Management team for the groundbreaking NEOM The Line project. This role will be instrumental in delivering this complex and visionary project, requiring exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record of success in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.

NEOM The Line is a revolutionary urban development project, a linear city stretching 170 km, designed to be a global hub for innovation and sustainable living. This ambitious project presents unique engineering and design challenges, demanding a world-class team to bring its vision to reality.
About the Role:
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of assigned design packages within the Engineered Design Management department for The Line. This includes managing multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating with stakeholders, controlling budgets and schedules, and ensuring the highest quality of deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multi-disciplinary engineering and design teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Develop and implement project management plans, including scope definition, schedule development, budget control, risk management, and communication strategies.
Monitor project progress against baseline plans, identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address any issues that may arise.
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations, as well as Parsons’ internal quality assurance processes.
Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
Manage project budgets and resources effectively, optimizing cost efficiency.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
Contribute to the overall success of the NEOM The Line project by collaborating effectively with other project teams and departments.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related field) required;
Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion of that experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East.
Proven experience in managing complex design projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, particularly related to urban development and infrastructure.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders effectively.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Knowledge of international codes and standards.
Experience working in a multicultural environment.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; Arabic language skills are a plus.
