Michael Baker International’s Construction Services staff supports clients by acting as their trusted on-site agent through all phases of construction, from pre-design to close-out, by providing qualified construction managers, inspectors, constructability reviewers, schedulers, estimators and safety experts. As new technologies evolve throughout the construction industry, innovative ideas are required to maintain and deliver successful construction projects.

DESCRIPTION 

Michael Baker International is currently seeking a Project Manager for our Construction Services practice in Ridgeland, MS. The successful candidate will oversee various construction projects throughout Mississippi. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Responsibilities include:

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met. Conduct constructability reviews of plans for upcoming projects. Prepare and present project proposals, including Letters of Interest.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Mississippi, or ability to obtain within 3 months. 15+ years of experience in construction inspection/management of highway projects. Strong knowledge of construction and administration procedures.
