Project Manager

We specialize in in data centers, office buildings, tenant fit out, government buildings, labs & hospitals, to name a few.

Because of our growth & backlog of projects, we are looking for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, who has at least 4+yrs of experience in a MEP/Mechanical Construction environment, with a focus on HVAC & Plumbing. 

Responsibilities  

Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of mechanical contracting projects over $50 million, ensuring alignment with company goals, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
 Budget Management: Develop, manage, and oversee project budgets, ensuring that all financial targets are met. Proactively address any variances and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
 Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of project engineers, subcontractors, and support staff. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and excellence.
 Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
 Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines, costs, and quality. Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed.
 Contract Management: Review and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and any changes are documented and approved.
 Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of quality control processes, ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client specifications.
 Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are achieved. Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work.
 Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, including financial performance, progress against milestones, and any emerging risks or issues.

Requirements 

-4+ Recent Yrs of experience in MEP/Mechanical Construction Project Management

-Heavy focus on prior HVAC & Plumbing within healthcare, commercial, industrial, government, Tenant Improvement, education type projects over $20M 

-In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Proficiency in project management software 

-Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and manage complex projects. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members at all levels

-Strong understanding of project finance, including budget development, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
