About the Role
The American Arbitration Association seeks a seasoned Project Manager to spearhead enterprise technology implementations and digital transformation initiatives. The selected candidate will serve as the strategic liaison between business and technology stakeholders, orchestrating projects from inception through delivery while maintaining alignment with corporate objectives and operational requirements. This position offers remote work flexibility with the requirement that candidates reside within 125 miles of their designated AAA office. Compensation is location-based and includes an annual performance incentive, with ranges as follows:
+ New York, NY: $113,000 - $120,000
+ Buffalo, NY: $96,000 - $101,000
Key Responsibilities
In the technology project leadership space, you will lead end-to-end technology project implementation, from scope definition to delivery. This includes managing resources, budgets, and timelines while maintaining stakeholder alignment. You'll be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks while capitalizing on improvement opportunities and driving process improvements through post-project evaluation.
As part of PMO leadership and governance, you will define and maintain PMO frameworks, standards, and best practices. Your role involves fostering cross-functional collaboration through standardized processes, mentoring team members, and presenting strategic updates to senior management. You'll also be instrumental in driving adoption of cutting-edge project management tools and methodologies.
In technology and change management, you will spearhead technology initiatives and change management efforts, oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and system maintenance. You'll be responsible for managing project escalations, maintaining critical documentation, and leading digital transformation initiatives and system integrations.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
+ 4-6 years progressive project management experience, including 2-3 years supervisory role
+ Expertise in project management methodologies and software (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, PMBOK, MS Project, Jira, Asana)
+ Experience with modern technology stack (AI integrations, APIs, process automation)
+ Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
+ Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Preferred Qualifications
+ Knowledge of NYS insurance regulations, particularly Regulations 68 and 35D
+ DevOps environment experience
+ Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and software development lifecycle
+ Track record of successful technology implementations
