Job Description

We are looking to hire a Project Manager for a high-profile resort project. This role requires strategic skills during the project conception stage, effective project planning, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure project success. This position is a full-time on-site role that reports to the Project Management team. This project is ongoing and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.

ResponsibilitiesAdvise at a strategic level at the project conception stage, providing advice on different approaches to achieve project objectives.Review drawing packages and provide timelines and deliverables as needed.Interface with Engineers, Architects, Designers, Stakeholders, and team members throughout all project stages.Understand, review, and redline all drawings for construction, schematic design, and interior design packages.Apply performance management techniques to monitor project progress.Manage the change control process effectively.Facilitate the flow of project information between the team and Ownership through regular meetings and written communications.Ensure compliance with quality standards through quality control measures.Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems for project execution.Identify and implement process improvements for internal systems and procedures.Ensure awareness of quality, safety, health, and environment issues among the appropriate team.Essential Skills3-5 years of Project Management experience within the commercial construction space.Experience in construction management, particularly within the hospitality industry.Experience working on hotel and hospitality construction projects.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work stream managers effectively.Experience in a client-facing role, demonstrating high effectiveness.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills.Knowledge of construction regulations and safety protocols.Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents.Ability to manage budgets and project timelines.Ability to review construction documents, drawings, and design packages.Additional Skills & QualificationsCommercial construction experienceHospitality construction experienceGround-up construction experienceSafety management experienceWork Environment

This position is onsite at the VAI Resort in Glendale, AZ, next to Cardinals Stadium. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with 50-hour work weeks. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with 100% vesting after 1 year, discretionary profit-sharing contributions subject to a 6-year vesting schedule, PTO, and sick leave.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
