**Summary**
The **Project Manager** is a key role, responsible for coordinating all activities within the **ENV Department** , including project documentation management, communication with clients, field inspectors, engineers, and various municipalities. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing environmental projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing client relationships. The role involves conducting environmental assessments, managing field investigations, preparing reports, and leading project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including EPA and OSHA.
+ Manage environmental projects, including Phase I & II ESAs, groundwater monitoring, soil and groundwater investigations, and remediation efforts.
+ Analyze environmental data, prepare technical reports, and develop recommendations.
+ Serve as the primary contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
+ Assist with environmental permitting, compliance documentation, and risk assessments.
+ Supervise field staff, consultants, and contractors to maintain safety and quality standards.
+ Develop project budgets, write proposals, and support business development initiatives.
+ Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and invoices while ensuring projects stay on budget and schedule.
+ Review reports, maps, blueprints, and other geological data for project planning and design.
+ Organize and maintain client documents and files for tracking and operational purposes.
+ Address client inquiries and special requests promptly.
+ Follow safety procedures and company policies.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record Check Criteria)
+ Ability to pass a background check screening in accordance with Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act (or equivalent state classification).
+ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting, project management, or a related field.
+ Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, NEPA, etc.).
+ Experience conducting Phase I & II ESAs and remediation projects.
+ Ability to read & write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Knowledge of written communication formats and composition, including grammar and vocabulary. Ability to present to one or more people, including customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to speak effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers/clients.
+ Computer skills sufficient to operate a laptop and cell phone, including sending and receiving emails, prepare and present PowerPoint Presentations, and learn Deltek Vision, SAP Concur, and various building department software(s).
+ Mathematical skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw or create, and interpret, bar graphs.
+ Reasoning ability to handle multiple and changing priorities concurrently. Ability to work with problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to effectively communicate about products, services, and technical requirements to both the client/customer and employees within UES.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
+ Proficiency in GIS, environmental modeling software, or data analysis tools is a plus.
+ Previous experience in an AEC firm
**Physical Demands and Work Environment :**
+ Required to drive, stand, walk, use hands to type, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, talk, and hear. Body motions and movements include bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, pulling, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and pushing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
+ Lifting and/or moving up to thirty-five pounds regularly is expected, and up to seventy-five pounds on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
+ Job site conditions may or may not be accessible by vehicle and can include wetlands, swamps, grasslands, and fields with uneven surfaces, sand, brush, and other natural and man-made obstacles.
+ This job occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and construction sites where the noise level is usually moderate to loud.
+ This is not a remote position. This job will be based in the selected job posting location.
