Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Melbourne. As a Project Manager at BGIS, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role will involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver complex projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that all milestones and deliverables are achieved.
Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Manage project risks and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring that projects stay on track and within scope.
Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and clients.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection and contract negotiations.
Oversee the preparation and submission of project documentation, including progress reports, invoices, and contracts.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within the facilities management, construction, or related industry.
Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Relevant qualifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are desirable.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
