Location/Region: This position is located in Dublin, CA.

What’s the role? 

The Project Manager is responsible for launching, driving, implementing and leading state-of-the-art business and technical infrastructure projects to support CZMI Operations. The role is responsible for maintenance of existing solutions, as well as managing continuous development and improvement projects with business process owners. The Project Manager will work closely with all levels of individuals within the US, and with colleagues across the Carl Zeiss global organization to successfully manage assigned projects.

Maintain current operations solutions, including IT, trouble-shooting, and disaster recovery in instances of process and IT failureDrive change, propose unique and creative approaches to the businessManage and lead business and technical infrastructure improvement projects to support broader CZMI functional organizationsStructure and lead cross-functional project teams in support of assigned projectsLead several operational projects simultaneouslyResponsible for project planning, risk assessments, and project cost estimatesEnsure alignment of Business Projects with IT roadmap and systems development initiativesImplement best practices within operations processes and integrate business practices with IT solutionsDrive continuous process improvements (e.g., Lean) and further develop solutions to increase operational performance and reduce costsImprove operational performance reporting for directing and controlling business and technical infrastructure enhancement projects.

Do you qualify?  

Bachelor Degree in Technical discipline is requiredSix years (6) of work experience in operational rolesProven business process knowledge in at least two of the following SAP-modules, or comparable ERP system, –MM, -LE, -SD, -PP or CS requiredProven experience in the implementation of operational business and technical infrastructure projects and integration with IT systemSix (6) years project management experience, including organizing, prioritizing, managing customer’s expectations, resource allocation, and scheduling work assignmentsProject Management Software and CAPM/ PMP/Prince2 skills or equivalent preferredDemonstrated track record of developing and managing multiple projects, including project budgetsExperience working with geographically dispersed teamsAbility to adjust to constantly changing priorities in a dynamic business environmentStrong initiative, drive, judgment and communication, skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMicrosoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) software skills

The annual pay range for this position is $107,800 - $134,700.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

      

This position is eligible for a Performance Bonus.
