Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Project Manager with experience managing cross-functional and strategic projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project management principles and a proven ability to lead projects to successful completion while coordinating efforts across various departments. What You’ll Do + Act as a self-driven individual contributor, taking ownership of projects from conception to completion, demonstrating strong initiative and accountability in achieving objectives. + Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to ensure project objectives are aligned and met. + Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including defining scope, setting milestones, and identifying resources. + Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure timely and successful delivery. + Identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies. + Communicate project status, updates, and key metrics to stakeholders and senior management. + Facilitate project meetings, ensuring effective communication and documentation of decisions and action items. + Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies. + Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing. + Minimal travel required; 10%. What You’ll Bring to Zelis + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. + 3-5 years experience as Project Manager. + Some experience in managing cross-functional and strategic projects. + Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within scope. + Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello). + PMP or similar certification is a plus but not required. Location and Workplace Flexibility We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
