PROJECT MANAGER (EAGLE 2025-22667):
Bowhead seeks a Project Manager to support its recently awarded Eagle contract in Aberdeen, MD. The Project Manager will provide resources to plan, organize, and manage transportation, logistics, maintenance, supply and personnel in support of Aberdeen Proving Grounds Logistics Readiness Center (APG LRC). The Project Manager must possess knowledge, experience and understanding of US Army logistics and chain of command. The Project Manager shall be responsible for all services performed under the task order and shall be the central point of contract (POC) for the customer.
ResponsibilitiesEssential functions will include:
Provide logistical support in the areas of supply, maintenance, and transportation at APG Installation and surrounding locations identified as off-post support locations under the task order. Will be responsible for financial management, general accounting requirements and quality control plan/processes as they relate to the total logistical responsibility of the task order. Responsible for continuous process improvement (CPI) and quality assurance (including, but not limited to, tracking performance, cost outcomes, CPI awareness training). Attend meetings, briefings, conferences as required for the customer and employer. Responds to urgent requirements or emergencies at all hours of the day/night and during weekends.

Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress. Ability to gain cooperation in order to coordinate the work of others and build a cohesive team. The flexibility and capability to adjust work to operational needs and to meet emergency or changing program and/or production requirements. Ability to work with subordinate managers, delegate tasks and authority to those mangers and ensure those tasks are completed satisfactorily. Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions. QualificationsA BA/S degree is required at a minimum however, a Master’s degree is preferred, in addition to at least fifteen (15+) years of management experience Must possess a minimum of five (5+) years of documented management experience with, or in support of, the US Military, during which you managed 40+ personnel both directly and indirectly Must have prior experience with financial management and knowledge of Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) to include Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and Unit Status Report (USR) Must understand ISO and quality management systems Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts using excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
