This position is responsible for assisting with and coordinating the daily, monthly and annual financial aspects of Air Systems Training (AST) Program Finance and Cost Accounting. Serves as the liaison between AST Business Operations Program Management and Accounting, Purchasing, and Capital Managers to present and exchange information. Continually reviews status of the Program Cost Center budget and manages Cost Allocations for internal customers. Assesses AST issues and develops solutions to meet production, quality, and customerÂsatisfaction goals and objectives. Participates in the development of plans for monitoring AST expansion, tracking progress and for intervention and problem solving.
**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Coordinate departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on designing and delivering new or upgrading existing products and/or services using internal process improvement tools.
+ Identify and assess Capital Project issues and develop recommendations for solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
+ Create or enhance budget progress reports to monitor and control overhead budget.
+ Create technical requirements documents for proposals, Statements Of Work, Requests For Proposals, and purchase requests. May present results to Program staff and Leadership when
+ necessary.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional team and AST Business Operations Manager to expand services and potential business opportunities.
+ Manage AST intranet page and update company website information pertaining to training services available.
+ Assist with development of Capital project plans and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and specification goals are attained.
+ Ensure compliance with international, governmental and other regulations.
+ Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
+ Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. With general supervision, this position is responsible for the administration of most financial aspects of ongoing AST Program execution.
+ Up to 25% travel is required.

**Job Qualifications:**
+ Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and at least six years of progressively complex experience in project administration. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
+ Must have a good understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.
