Roles and Responsibilities
As the Project Manager Associate – Marine, you will:
Independently manage and coordinate engineering/field service resources on smaller projects or portions of a larger programWork closely with assigned Project Manager(s) to coordinate contract execution on larger projects/programsProvide planning services to assist project team with equipment and engineering deliverable issues on projectsInterface with various functions within the business to monitor status of the project and ensure timely execution of project requirements and deliverables (such as project documentation and deliverables tracking, procurement and material tracking, customer/supplier invoice submission and issues resolution)Track, compile, and report financial performance across projects including cost/labor reports, monitor billing and revenue milestones, identify and track risks/opportunities, and ensure adherence to the OneOTR project frameworkSupport relevant and data-driven project schedules per customer requirements and develop reports to maximize critical path visibility to the project team while focusing on overall On-Time DeliveryBe a self-motivated team player who can drive cross-functional teams and communicate the results effectively to customersRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in project planning, project management or engineering)Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in project planning, project management or engineeringDesired Characteristics
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferredProficiency with SAP and MS ExcelAbility to learn and follow defined departmental policies, procedures, and practicesAbility to make decisions with regards to completion of tasks and job methods and follow through with results of outcomeStrong influencing skills when dealing with functions and planning their activitiesAbility to interface with difficult internal/external customers, customizing planning activities according to specific needs and requirementsAbility to prioritize activities and respect deadlinesStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
