Project Manager - Business Unit

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Solutions team.

 

What is the role about?

As a Solutions Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality, cost management and meeting deadlines, following all the good practices determined by the PMI, as well as faithful compliance with Brazilian and international regulatory standards.

 

Which tasks will you perform? 

Responsible for achieving the desired objectives for his project[s] within the defined time and cost framework whilst fully achieving the delivery scope and quality desired; Ensure the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project; Creates project plans, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements; tracking project progress and costs in conjunction with Project Engineer; Evaluates the supply chain and options for 3rd party equipment, materials, or parts and makes sure to meet quality standards; Implement resource planning in Planview and generate monthly status plan for review with Head of Project Management; Ensures customer satisfaction and effectively communicating with stakeholders; conferring with customers and management on production capabilities, schedules, and problems; Reports to the Head of Project Management regularly on the projects progress, organize and moderate regular team meetings to provide updates and planning; Lead Project Kick off Meetings internally and with Customer; Manage all the execution phases of project contracts from QG4 to QG6; ensuring they are completed in the most efficient manner according to the project specification, within the time required, within the budget, without risk to the health and safety of all concerned while ensuring good customer satisfaction; Planning, coordination, control and reporting of required project activities: scope and contract management, project quality management, resource management, risk management, cost controlling, project planning and scheduling, change management; Responsible of specific project KPI's (on time delivery, baseline margin fulfillment etc.); Is authorized to take decisions to achieve project targets and customer satisfaction. Reports and escalate internally for significative issues Participate in Design Reviews meetings and Lead Contract Review Meetings; Cooperate with project administrator for execution of Logistic, shipping docs, invoicing´; Is responsible to make sure that all payments are received as per contract; Cooperate with Service for certain WP's and provide support during Warranty period; Use and improvement of E+H I.I. standards, work processes, document templates and tools for project management and reporting; Assistance to Project Acquisition with participation in Bid strategy meetings, Bid clarification meetings, Contract review meetings. May also assist for certain WP's of Bid preparation; Cooperation and coordination with other organizations and teams within E+H, project teams and business partners; All activities to comply with company standards, procedures and work instructions;

 

What do we expect from you?

Diploma or degree in Control/Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Project Management experience is an advantage; Experience in Instrumentation and Process Control Engineering; Solutions implementation experience is required; An enthusiastic, dynamic and customer oriented personality is required; Project Management experience is an advantage; Familiar with industry standard and codes, practices, and procedures within a particular field;

 

Abilities+Profile 

Project Management Customer and Client Focus Communication Leadership Strategic Planning Bilingual English and Spanish or English and Portuguese is mandatory. Trlingual Portuguese, Spanish, English is beneficial Able to travel in the region at short notice Be able to work in team Able to multi-task and prioritize
