Job Description:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Management of technical project implementation

Monitor project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and reporting any variances.Manage and supervise project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration and performance.Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project outcomes.Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.Coordinate with protection technical staff for project capacity building activities related to child rights, child protection and CAAC (Children and Armed Conflict)Ensure all necessary project IEC disseminate to targeted locationsDevelop and maintain a knowledge management system which functions as an information storing house, project document filling system, and technical resource database.Provide strong leadership on project management to the project team membersAnalyze case information and share trends and patterns to improve program response and for advocacy

Coordinate and Provide management support for effective project implementation

Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners to strengthen collaboration and support project initiatives.Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.Attend meetings, special events, workshops, and networking events to represent the organization and identify potential partnerships.Ensure effective coordination with donor agency for success project implementation and toset up hotline management systemCoordinate among the stakeholders includes internal and external of WVM who interested the success of project which implanting in WVM

To monitor and report the project implementation and financial to be in line with strategy and planning of project

Support Country Task Force on Monitoring and Reporting (CTFMR) mechanismImplement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet project goals and objectivesPlan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to objectives.Submit timely quarterly financial report to UNICEF in coordination with finance departmentEnsure the timely submission of program reports according to donor standards.Ensure a monitoring plan to effectively track progress of the Project measured against stated indicatorsMaintain thorough project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes, success stories, case study and lesson learnedEvaluate project processes and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices

Ensure the capacity and competency of project team members to properly engagement of program's requirements according to project design

Facilitate capacity building training for the project staff both PC (Project Coordinators) DMS and M&E specialist coordination with protection specialistManage and support project staff in development and execution of capacity building activities to strengthen documentation and learning process within the projectCarry out or engage task with good judgement and responsibly.Perform additional duties and assignments proactivelyBy actively participating with manager in producing a relevant and jointly agreed development planThe plan will identify key areas which will assist in personal and professional development consistent with World Vision’s strategic goals

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

Minimum of 2-3 years of leadership experience in community development preferably project ManagementPrevious experience with Child Protection in Humanitarian Action Project managementPrevious experience in managing or implementing CP case managementBachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably international development, social science, child development or law or human rights related subjects) and higher degree is preferred.Good knowledge of Child Rights and Child LawGood understanding of children affected by armed conflictGood understanding of community developmentGood computer skills (word, excel)Good verbal and written English skillsStrong interpersonal, collaborative, negotiating, networking and organizational skillsProject Management in child protection project in conflict/humanitarian settingsAble to work under pressure to deadlines and priorities work effectively.
