As a Project Manager you will be involved throughout the lifecycle of on-going technical enhancements and product offerings. You will follow a "stage-gate" process, lead several product development teams and deliver the product offerings, including key metrics at each gate such as quality, time plans, product/project cost, and vehicle attributes (features). You will follow the agile methodology for the Body Cab Engineering product streams to integrate new vehicle technologies demanded in the marketplace.
ResponsibilitiesSecure project and maintenance deliveries from the area of responsibility in respect to committed QDCF targets.Work directly with the line organization to define deliverables for respective groups and secure annual budget estimates and resources to support the deliveries.Ensure that clear requirements and deliverables are established for each department according to global development process GDP.Lead Program Increment activities related to the Agile methodology with a cadence-based approach within the development teams.Identify dependencies and foster cross-functional and cross- agile release train collaboration.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in engineering project management.OEM Experience within automotive, commercial vehicles, or heavy industrial equipment.Experience with Body CAB Structures, or Interiors, or ExteriorsFamiliar with Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma.Experience in Structured Problem Solving (8D)Experience in Jira, MS Project.Knowledge of SAFe Agile, SCRUM and KANBAN WoW.PMP certification preferred.Ability to travel, as neededGoken America (“Goken”) is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee based on race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or any other applicable protected basis under federal, state, or local law.
