The purpose of the Cloud Project Manager role:
The facilitators of the Cloud Services scrum and ultimately the delivery of the Cloud Services product. As a facilitator, the Project Manager act as a coach to the team resolving impediments and removing blockers. Committed to the scrum foundation and values, yet pragmatic and flexible and open to opportunities for the team to improve their workflow.
The Project Manager has a technical focused on time-boxed iterations, sprints, and the co-creation of value rather than focused on control and progress tracking.
The Cloud Project Manager role responsibilities will include:
Monitor project and task evolvement and provide timely feedback to stakeholders Responsible for adopting and implementing agile methods to increase team productivity, efficiency, and improve the quality of the deliverables Hosts daily team meetings to get updates on the progress of projects, address potential roadblocks, and ensure that the projects and tasks is on track. Host regular sessions to share updates with product stakeholders about project health. Ultimately, ensure that the team is meeting deadlines with the desired outcome Sprint planning, find methods to effectively manage the backlog, arrange and optimize backlog items, conduct retrospect’s and sprint reviews Collaborate with stakeholders and contributors to improve the methodologies’ efficiency Nurture the team and the effective collaboration between stakeholders and project members ultimately result in successful deliveries that meet the organization’s requirements Find creative ways to increase organization, collaboration, and productivity to deliver to the defined business needs As a team member and facilitator, be a good listeners and pay attention to the challenges the team is facing at every step of the way. Paying attention to the team’s daily activities to gain a clear view of members’ roles and contributions in sprint sessions
