Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $70,500.00 - $107,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to work with sponsors to clarify and document project vision to create alignment. As a project manager, you will plan and execute medium to large, highly complex projects within the Commercial Line of Business. This includes coordinating the efforts of cross-functional team members within Core Commercial, Operations, Commercial Payments, and Information Technology in order to deliver projects on time and within budget. As a function of managing these projects, this position will be responsible for establishing and successfully executing a well-defined project plan that meets the scope, goals and deliverables as defined by project stakeholders.
Essential Functions
Manage projects in adherence to the Commerce Bank project methodology
Translate business requirements into specifications for technical and non-technical project members
Lead the planning of projects and identification of tasks
Manage any project related issues and handle escalations
Coordinate testing efforts across all parties
Manage status reporting to project sponsors and business line management
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of project management, including best practices
Ability to manage projects that cross multiples lines of business, including Information Technology
Ability to learn Commercial Banking products, including Treasury Services, Payments, Healthcare and/or International Services
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks without the need for direct supervision
Demonstrated ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of team members, including vendors, management, and other departments
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an aptitude for problem resolution
Ability to facilitate conversations within and across lines of business for alignment and transparency of decisions
Ability to work with all levels within the organization from entry level to executive management
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Advanced level proficiency in the use of PCs: Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and Project
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required
2+ years of proven and direct experience in full life-cycle project management, including business analysis required
Agile project management experience preferred
PMI Certification preferred
