**Position Summary**
RSI is currently recruiting aProject Managertoassist in the startup and operation of a concrete production facility in Oak Ridge, TN to support the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) environmental cleanup and private industry construction.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Project Manager is responsible for the overall management, production, and delivery of large quantities of concrete materials.
+ Manage the raw material supply chain and inventory to produce up to 350cy of Controlled Low Strength Material (CLSM) and/or high-performance construction concrete per hour.
+ Schedule and deliver order-specific concrete daily to customer job sites located on DOE property in Oak Ridge.
+ Obtain and maintain National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) plant and delivery truck certifications.
+ Ensure all produced concrete meets quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC) requirements as demonstrated through independent QC testing and records management.
+ Ensure the safety of the workforce and environmental stewardship of concrete production and delivery operations.
+ Maintain excellent customer relationships.
**Job Knowledge/Qualifications**
+ The ideal candidate will have previous project management experience in construction involving the production and delivery and/or use of large quantities of concrete materials.
+ Must be highly knowledgeable in the production and use of CLSM and high-performance construction concrete.
+ Must have experience in concrete production quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC) including independent strength testing.
+ Must have demonstrated superior personnel and customer relations skills.
**Required Education and Experience**
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.10+ years engineering, operations/maintenance, construction, and/or project management experience. Experience in various project management activities such as planning, budgeting and performance management. Has the ability to obtain a DOE security clearance.
Professional engineer license preferred.
