Group/Division

The KLA Global Workplace Services (GWS) team is passionate about enabling the business goals and company culture through the delivery of workplace environments and services that foster teamwork, innovation and productivity. Our team runs a worldwide portfolio of over 3 million square feet, 135 sites and over 12,000 employees. In addition to ensuring the workspace and manufacturing facilities operate seamlessly, this group also provides employee and site services, such as cafeteria, transportation, security, and safety. The team is responsible for all construction and site improvement work to enable the business needs as well as align with the financial requirements.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Developing strong client relationships with Business Group stakeholders.  Become familiar with the client’s vision, business strategy and understand their rhythm of the business, organization, and performance measures. 

Overseeing the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets for all assigned projects including resource requirements; analyze process flows for all operational processes relating to assigned projects and recommend changes resulting in cost savings, enhanced customer service, or improved asset management.

Determine and define scope of work and deliverables for assigned projects.

Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.

Predict resources needed to complete projects in case of variation order. Manage costs in order to meet budget.

Familiar and obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory pre-requisites (Municipality, Government, Fire Safety Department, Environmental Agency, Ministry of Economics, etc).

Own and manage contracts and subcontracts. Select and manage General Contractor and supplier relationships. Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and contractors.

Responsible for timely and costly completion of construction projects by overseeing all phases of the project.

Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines.

Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes.

Organizing and drive large teams of industry professionals and project support staff towards successful completion of project objectives.  Providing leadership in facilitating timely decision-making and integration of key stakeholder groups and required milestones

Develop space roadmaps for Offices / Lab / Clean room to meet business needs.

Develop workspace and clean rooms that builds a work environment enabling collaboration, innovation and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.

Significant experience in Project Management

Experience in Class 100 Clean Room construction - advantage

Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software. Able to draft with AutoCAD - advantage.

Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles

Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.

High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions

Strong leadership and management skills

Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with business groups and align with company’s goals and objectives.

Strong communication and presentation skills with senior leaders

Proficient with organizing data, using data, finance analysis and influence decision making

Excellent organizational skills and able to work on multiple projects

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
