Project Manager/Coordinator

The Role

Newly created role for a Project Manager/ Coordinator with strong leadership skills to join our Asset Care team. This role involves close collaboration with site personnel to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. The successful candidate will work with a high-performing team, gaining continuous exposure to projects that will enhance their technical and project management skills. Exceptional performers will have opportunities for career advancement.

This is a permanent position with SRG Global – Asset Care, with potential to move to other upcoming and ongoing projects within the greater SRG business.

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively manage project plans, including scope, schedule, and resources, to achieve or exceed profitability and planned growth. Collaborate with other Managers to ensure full and efficient utilization of all Company resources. Allocate resources (including self) to minimise indirect time and maximize billable time. Ensure the implementation and adherence to all quality procedures, participating in their development if necessary. Ensure compliance with all Company policies. Promote a team approach within a continuous improvement culture. Record test results and prepare technical reports presenting outcomes. Ensure all test work and documentation meet National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and ISO requirements where applicable. Direct and supervise technicians in their duties. Ensure regular cleaning, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment. Liaise with client representatives on sites to ensure clear understanding of work scopes and appropriate testing techniques. Strive for the highest level of operational efficiency to ensure a profitable contribution to the business. Handle day-to-day scheduling for ad-hoc jobs, daily timesheet, and JCR approvals. Maintain awareness of competitors' activities and strategies within the region. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations to potential clients.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

Qualifications and/or experience in NDT methods and Management Five+ years of relevant industry experience. Previous experience in industrial industry is advantageous. Proficient in PC skills, particularly with MS Office software. Dedicated to safety, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Managerial or supervisory experience in testing, inspection, or asset care services. Knowledgeable about plant and equipment. Understanding of Non-Destructive Testing Techniques and Procedures. Experience with corporate and site-based Quality Systems. Skilled in preparing various reports, including compliance reports, proposals, client reports, and technical reports. Strong knowledge and ability to implement safety and environmental legislation and licensing conditions. Committed to fostering a high-performance culture.
